Dr. Jaylin Holland, ND is a 2022 graduate of the University of Bridgeport School of Naturopathic Medicine. In pursuit of her dream of becoming a Naturopathic physician, Dr. Holland received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from UB, a program in which she focused on nutrition science and public health services.
While in the naturopathic medical program, Dr. Holland learned a variety of treatment modalities and participated in various clinic rotations. With a particular interest in rotations focusing on women’s health, generative medicine, cardiology, and oncology.
Before practicing Naturopathic medicine, Dr. Holland practiced for over a decade in the healing arts of bodywork as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Through this work, her focus on the musculoskeletal system, its influence on the mind-body connection, and holistic Eastern approaches to health fueled an interest in internal medicine. Deeply valuing the importance of our connection to oneself as a whole, including the mind, body, and spirit, Dr. Holland decided to pursue medicine that focused on holistic techniques with modern functional medicine and clinical nutrition.
Dr. Holland is passionate about moving her patients toward wellness and improving their future health outcomes. Her practice employs Precision Medicine, the use of patient data-driven interventions based on genomics and microbiome, and timeless, traditional Naturopathic wisdom. Dr. Holland also works diligently to nurture her patients’ wellness by encouraging prevention through education, awareness, and early action. Her patients are encouraged to embrace the importance of daily rhythms and implement sustainable habits to maintain wellness as a daily lifestyle balance suitable for their needs.
When out of the office, Dr. Holland enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include hiking, visiting the beach, traveling to fun places, listening to music, and watching movies. She loves eating different types of food, indulging in dining experiences, and cooking delicious meals.
