Dr. Megan Lester completed her undergraduate studies at UConn where she received a degree in Allied Health Sciences. While at UConn, she participated in a study abroad program in Beijing, China where she had the opportunity to study Traditional Chinese Medicine alongside experienced professionals in the field. Dr. Lester also competed on the UConn track & field team.

She then earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National University of Health Sciences in Illinois. There, she took additional coursework to get certified in acupuncture and Nasal Release Technique. She broadened her patient care by participating in a rotation at the Salvation Army rehabilitation clinic in downtown Chicago.

Dr. Lester has a particular interest in treating autoimmune, endocrine, and digestive conditions, including IBS and SIBO. She has a strong drive for working to reduce the risk of cognitive decline and neurodegeneration in susceptible individuals. She aims to individualize care and treat the whole person while utilizing clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, and lifestyle counseling.  In her free time, she enjoys playing sports, cooking, journaling, and spending time with her cat, Bear.
