
Dr. Nick Edgerton studied Sports Biology, Nutrition and Chemistry at Springfield College where he participated in exercise science research. Dr. Edgerton went on to pursue his interest in natural medicine at the University of Bridgeport where he received a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters in Acupuncture. Dr. Edgerton has taken advantage of opportunities to study herbal medicine with native healers in Jamaica and the West Indies, in addition to volunteering medical services in an underserved area of Guatemala.
Dr. Edgerton sees patients with a variety of health concerns including men’s health, diabetes management, thyroid dysfunction and digestive disorders. Dr. Edgerton also utilizes Acupuncture for a number of conditions including pain, recovery, and insomnia.
Dr. Edgerton is passionate about supporting the expansion of Naturopathic Medicine. He has pushed legislative efforts to expand the scope of practice for naturopathic doctors in the state of Connecticut and is hopeful for improving access to Naturopathic Doctors nationwide.

When not treating patients, Dr. Edgerton, a Connecticut native, enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, running, gardening, and boating.
