Michelle Malz, APRN

Michelle is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who is able to provide family focused health care to patients of all ages.

Michelle completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at UConn in 2017. She then went on to work at Hartford Hospital at the Bone and Joint Institute. Here she was able to learn her skills on assessing patients, providing direct patient care, and administering medications. She loved supporting her patients as they took the step to improve their quality of life. Her passion in helping her patients led her to further her education and obtain her Master’s degree in Nursing at American International College in Springfield, MA and become a board certified Nurse Practitioner with the ANCC.

Michelle has always found interest in combining traditional and functional medicine. She believes in considering the full picture (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) when providing primary care and addressing the root cause of each disease. Michelle finds importance in spending time to listen and gathering information to make a personalized and patient-focused approach.

Michelle is of Polish decent and spent her younger years attending Polish Language school learning to read, write and speak Polish. She enjoys spending her time traveling the world. She has traveled to multiple places in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia with her last trip being to Tokyo. She loves learning about culture, experiencing new foods and meeting new people. In Connecticut she likes to stay busy by spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and family.
