Dr. Carolina Gonzalez completed her undergraduate studies at Western New England University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. For her spring breaks she travelled to Honduras where she worked as an english-spanish translator in community clinics and provided educational information regarding nutrition and hygiene. After working for years at a naturopathic private practice as administrative support, Dr. G decided to fully immerse herself into her naturopathic studies.

She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from The University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. There she participated in a variety of clinic rotations where she learned a variety of treatment modalities. She took a particular interest in SIBO and GI conditions after working closely with specialists in the field. She first began interning at Collaborative Natural Health Partners, elevating their laboratory diagnostics by implementing Lactulose breath tests, processing take-home kits and creating education and dietary supports for patients.

In medical school, Dr. G completed her thesis on the mind-body connection where she extensively researched the impact of psychological stress on the body. This prompted her to seek out an additional certification in craniosacral therapy, a gentle hands-on technique that promotes relaxation of the central nervous system. Her hobbies include working out, cooking healthy meals and hiking in nature with her Siberian husky.
